Abilities:

Scylla is a very unremarkable fighter. He's young and inexperienced, with a lot to learn. While he can defend himself from brigands and thugs, against anyone with more than basic training, Scylla is outmatched. He's quick on his feet, at the very least, and slightly stronger than the average human. His senses are sharp, particularly sight, hearing, and smell.

He possesses an immense amount of magic, sealed away by the weapon he carries on him at all times. When the axe breaks, it unleashes his demonic magic, which takes the form of earth and time magic. This allows him to see the course of immediate events and actions, allowing him to read his opponent and avoid or counter their moves. His earth magic can shatter boulders, and perhaps even mountains when he gets older, but for now this magic is a last resort, meant to keep him alive.

Like all kelahati, Scylla has a natural way with animals, and is particularly gifted in talking to them. He also has an uncanny knowledge of the earth and soil, knowing when each field is most fertile, or even how to make it more fertile.

Appearance:

Scylla is a small boy, standing at about 5'4" tall and hardly weighing much at all, with a slender build that doesn't seem to display much muscle in spite of the work he does. His complexion is very fair, almost pure white, with palest pink undertones. His large, cat-like eyes are an ice blue color. His hair is shaggy and two-toned, with the right half being white and the left half being an ash-brown color. Only a few features mark his kelahati lineage: he has the ears and tail of a snow leopard, and his arms, legs, and back are covered in the same spots as the animal. In spite of this, his flock does not fear him, nor do the humans of his village.

He wears simple clothes, a plain white shirt and basic cream colored trousers. Perhaps the most extravagant clothes he wears are his jacket, a pale grey color with a black fur collar, trimmed bronze embroidery and buttons, and his knee-high grey leather boots. He wears a small pair of glasses on his head that function as binoculars, allowing him to scan the distance for any coming trouble. He wears a black and brass scarf around his tail, just in case it gets chilly.

The axe he carries also acts as a staff, with a long slender handle. The blade of the axe is rather small, and really only useful for chopping wood and fending off wild beasts. However, the entire weapon seems to glitter, and acts as a seal to contain his magic.

He appears as a rather unremarkable snow leopard, no different from the other of his kin, save for a pair of horns atop his head and particularly large paws with claws.

Personality:

Little older than a teen, Scylla has a lot to learn about the outside world. He knows he's a kelahati, but has never been mistreated by the humans in his village. This has made him a little too trusting of other humans, and he's unaware of the distrust other humans harbor in their hearts. A very friendly and sweet child, Scylla is quick to make friends, and does his best to see the good in people. He enjoys helping others, and can often be found around his village helping others with their chores, as he can't seem to sit still for very long. This extra energy never seems to go away, and Scylla finds it hard to focus when he has nothing to do, so he finds ways to keep himself busy.

As the son of two farmers, Scylla is very independent. He has a good work ethic, and doesn't half-ass a job. If he's going to do something, it's going to be done right. Though in spite of this, his mind does tend to wander while he's out tending to the sheep, as not much happens in his sleepy little mountain village.

He can come across as rather simple at times, not having much in the way of a formal education. While he can read and write some, he finds it boring, and would rather be with the animals than inside learning. He can often be rather blunt, and while not malicious in intent, Scylla often speaks without thinking. His independence has also given him a little too much confidence, and he's prone to taking unnecessary risks (often for good reasons). This has lead him to fall off many roofs, and thankfully hasn't caused him too much harm.

History:

Scylla was found by two human women on the outskirts of their village. He was just a baby, swaddled in furs, and no one knew where he'd come from. Unable to have children of their own, Mary and Mae took him in and raised Scylla as their own. His childhood was happy and uneventful, and when he began to take care of his mothers' flock he was given Max to help keep them safe. Scylla has never left his village, and knows little of the outside world.
