[M] Until Silence Is Broken

The boy glanced at his father as he drew the portal for them. He wasn't too sure what to name his new companion, but he had a little time to do that. After all, the boy just picked out the new pet so he hadn't known what to name him at the moment. Maybe something would come to him soon, but for now the new addition to the family would remain nameless until the boy could decide on a decent enough name. Vion shook his head no in reply as he went through the portal and glanced at where his father had dropped them off. A small grin crept onto his face as he squeezed the fox in response, causing the smaller creature to yelp in surprise. Unaware to the boy, he ran over to his bed, dragging the new pet in toe with him. The fox remained calm and tempered throughout the boy's rougher treatment, but his ears flattened a bit to show when he was annoyed. However, that was the most other than small growls every now and then to show the boy the fox was not happy; to which the young royal would adjust.

Vion laid the fox on his bed before climbing up to join him. The fox walked around the perimeter of the soft surface unsure what it really was as it explored the new terrain. Vion watched in amusement with giggles and smiles to accompany. Within time the fox return to the boy's lap and curled up as if claiming him as his bed over the rest of the actual bed, but Vion didn't mind. He merely rested a hand on the creature and rubbed behind its ears. "Thank you daddy!" Vion said as he looked up to his dad with a huge smile. He was happy.
