She walked up behind Charlie and put a hand on her back comfortingly. "You have gone through far more than anyone should have had to, but what happens now entirely depends on you."
The demoness paused, then plucked a moth that was flitting around out of the air. "Everything that's happened to you has shaped you, but what happens now is your choice. Your aunt may not like what you do, but you will be the heir and the future will be decided by you, if you are willing to work for it."
