Lyth pranced around him and the deer looking at their handy work. They had really done it! They were going to eat today and not have to wait and hope someone brought home extra food or anyone would spare some of their hunt. It had been done. Her lip pulled over her white canines in a smile as she yipped again with joy and pounced around. "We get to eat and this is enough we should be good for the rest of the day! And on top of that we even got to practice some magic," she exclaimed.
"Go ahead and take the first bite," she said coming to a stop, lips parted in a small pant from the chase and her heard was racing. "You did most of the work with the take down. You earned first bite." Her ears twitched and she looked back. That fox that had been watching them earlier was gone now. The world was silent as well. It seemed what ever other prey had been here had fled at the sounds of the hunt and the smell of blood and fear on the air.
She looked back at Rasmus and smiled.
