She smiled at him. She wanted him to know that it was okay. She didn't want him to feel bad. Maybe she shouldn't have bothered him today. To be fair, she had asked him only to gain knowledge but perhaps given the current state of the pack, he may have had a lot on his mind that made it harder for him to focus on at the moment.
"Okay maybe not a squirrel since they can climb," she replied as she scratched her ear with her hind paw. This was indeed tricky. She knew part of being a good hunter wad knowing which battles to pick and choose. Hunting was in its own right a battle.
Lythium stopped scratching her ear and shook her head. "Maybe... we could try to hunt with magic this time? It might help us eat at least but won't help my stalking abilities. That is nightmare though.. it will need much more than a day's work."
