Rasmus' body stayed still, eyes just watching the small animal, waiting for the right opportunity to pounce upon the thing; but it already seemed the female was on it. The small thing was making a run for it now, this caused the male to quickly jump up from his lower position on the ground. Ok, there was no way he was going to let this damn thing get the better of him! It was small and fast, but he could always be faster as well. His large paws bound towards it, the sound of ruffling grass filling the area around them. He wasn't going to give up chase though, even if his body grew tired and needed of rest. The male was just as hungry as the other, the rabbit was a decent size for the two of them to share. Even if not, he would give her more of it if anything.
