Kamilo ducked as the beast swooped over him, shielding his face from the debris kicked up in her wake. When he looked up, he saw that the dragon had cornered him against the cliff's edge. His eyes darted around, looking for possible routes should he decide to make a break for it. A kitsune always had a few tricks up his sleeve, so he had no concerns about getting out of this alive. The human, who appeared to be hopelessly stupid, was on his own.
"Don't patronize me," Kamilo spat, tails lashing behind him. "You think you got the advantage just because you're bigger than me? What else do you got to back all that up, huh?"
As he spoke, flickering will-o-wisps sparked to life around him, jumping and spitting wildly. He didn't use any of them just yet, instead just keeping them at the ready. The longer he held them, the more wild the wisps seemed to get, changing rapidly in size and shape. The young kitsune had very little control for how much fire power he wielded, but no one had to know that...
