Lia kept going and never looked back. She only moved forward and away from the slow carnage that was building up in the area. The town would no longer be safe with a fight so close like this. Her friend could handle himself or at least she hoped. Forgoing staying in the town any longer, she left back towards where she originally came from and out of the area. Maybe one day she'd find her friend, but today wasn't it.

It had been some time since the fighting and her latest failed attempt to find her friend. She stayed hidden away for the most part and waited for the next note she may receive from him. It was always hard trying to meet up and sometimes she worried too much about him, but he was her only true friend. She wanted to make sure he was safe. However, her Lord dis have a point. It was foolish for her to run into an army looking for a friend and with so many guys... The girl shuttered at the very thought of what could even happen.
She rubbed her hands together and as she tried to warm herself up. Her fire had died during the night. All that was left was the embers still smoking. She kicked over some dirt to kill the fire once and for all before gathering up her things in her knapsack. The girl threw on her cowl over her head and wrapped herself up in her cape before heading out on the road once more. Maybe she could find some work in one of the villages for the time being.
