"Oh well... I know my answer and the reason for it is probably strange for you, but I have many reasons to go upon the conclusion that I came up with just based on things like that," she glanced away as she spoke, "I know quite a bit about the Sphinx race and a lot of attributes that coincide with them as well. Intelligence is one that is very revered among them and on aspect they all share no matter the age. Magic though, maybe not as much really, but the way you flip pages with your eyes I know is more than just simply magic." The shy woman began to raise her book up towards her face now, hiding her lower face as she tried not to stutter in her speech; doing quite well so far that is. Maybe her logic was flawed, but being a Sphinx as well gave her the reasoning for look for things like that rather than appearance.
"I did notice your hands though, but I did not take that into account. Many creatures could have the gene that have paws, sometimes the gene doesn't change every aspect. So I couldn't just go by that, could I?" Aziza's brow furrowed just a little, her nose was practically against the pages of her book now, "there were a lot of things to take into account, you're aura is quite interesting as well. So it was another detail I considered, I didn't say anything as I assumed you'd think me odd." The female's eyes glanced down now, before gazing back over towards Killian, her brows still furrowed lightly though; her nerves were on high end at that moment. If there wasn't a beat of her heart, she could assume she was probably dead right now. Amazing it beat harder than ever.
A faint blush came to her cheeks, his compliment feeling rather nice to hear; though even so she lacked a lot of confidence in certain things. "Thank y-you, Sir, I do appreciate your words though I'm afraid it is quite hard to me to have confidence... with my lack of being a-able to socialize well," he sighed softly, "if I must confess to you something, I would have to say it's been a while since I have ummm.. met another of my own kind."
