Killian waved the apology off. "No need to apologize for being nervous. It's my understanding that that is a thing that happens to people. For an unknown reason."
Now that he thought about it, he didn't really know that many generally nervous people. Perhaps being neck deep in a college environment since the day he was born was probably not the best path for him to take. It was becoming obvious that he was a little (read: a lot) disconnected from the world outside the wards of Yfrelo.
He didn't flinch until Aziza yelled at him.
"I know a couple colleagues who have this gene, though it didn't behave like mine. They learned through magic. I've been able to shift almost as soon as I was out of infancy." He blinked, and took some more notes down hastily. "I think it would be interesting to see if you can guess. Based on what you see, what do you think I can shift into?"
