Unfortunately for Naiome, Aolani had a sibling, and the stance she had taken was all too familiar. When the younger dragon swatted at her, Aolani simply moved her paws away and doubled down as she sunk her claws into the earth below. And when Naiome struck her with her tail she took the blow.
One of the perks to being such a long dragon was a long neck, and the reach that came with it. As soon as Naiome’s tail made contact, Aolani’s head whipped around with jaws ready to clamp down on her student’s tail so she could throw her around like a rag doll.
