Jean was shivering like mad - whether it was due to the cold, freezing waters or the Leviathan seconds away from brutalising him, he didn't know. He almost wet himself at the sight of the Leviathan, her eyes made him feel like his every thought could be read, and any funny tricks would cause him to die.

He shuddered at the sound of her voice, her threats made him break out into cold sweats. I mean, if I say yes, she won't necessarily know that I won't actually do that. I could say no and be ripped apart limb from limb, but that really isn't my cup of tea. And... did she say her name was Tabassum 'Mandeep?' Should I... he was making himself grin before realising that there's a high chance he'd die if he continued thinking like that. Just looking at the thing made him reconsider his life choices and consider buying new underwear if this would go on for longer.

"Very well!" Jean stuttered, doing his best to put on a posh accent. "I shall be your her-"...
He paused.
"Fireballs!" he instinctively struggled to try and get away. "Let go! F-f-fireballs!"

She seemed pleased at his decision, throwing him into the air as all but one of the fire balls seemed to fly through her, the one that appeared to be off target slamming into her chin. She screamed her wrath towards her aggressor, moving rapidly towards him. A massive, gaping maw, one that could gobble him up with little notice, opened before him.
And then her body twisted and morphed, Large wings sprouting from her back and four legs from under side, her long, serpentine body shortening and redistributing the mass. Her face took on a draconic quality as black, crystalline scales took the place of her bio-luminescent skin. Throughout it, however, the gaunt quality of her normal body remained.
The dragon, just a massive as the leviathan, hovered before the offender, bellowing her rage, before swooping back and picking up Jean in one of her claws, being sure not to hurt her pet. She could deal with the illusion fox later. It would be fun to watch it run.

Kamilo could not believe what he was hearing. Was Jean giving up to this sea monster so easily? Humans were so soft; did they really have so little self respect that at the first sign of a threat they'd surrender their life into servitude to some random creature? The kitsune scowled as he watched the leviathan scream and morph. What was it doing? He took a few cautious steps back, readying more fireballs that flickered wildly in his hands to betray the anxiety he felt while holding his ground against the massive beast.

After all that roaring, Kamilo's ears were ringing, and he could feel the noise echoing through his bones. He had never seen anything like this creature, but what could it be other than some fancy sea dragon? Not that he had ever stood up to a sea dragon, either, but what was there to say that he couldn't?

"Are you gonna answer me or what?" he yelled as the leviathan turned its attention back to Jean. "I won't let you get away with ignoring me! Who do you think you are! Just what are you, anyway?"

"Oi! Can you not fling me aro-" Jean quickly remembered who he was talking to. "I meant, much appreciated for catching me, Ma'am!" Maybe pretending like I'll do something for this monster wasn't such a good idea after all. She turned into a bloody dragon. Who's to say she can't follow me around now. I'm not one for sidekicks... or even worse, being someone else's sidekick! Please, little furry friend, burn this... this thing.

Jean prayed to the Gods for mercy, not wanting to be indebted to this foul creature. But, it was almost obvious Kamilo had no idea what he was doing.

"You bastard!" Jean shouted at Kamilo. "Can you not fling those fireballs so close? How about not flinging them in the first place?" Jean sucked in his dignity. "You're going to harm my Mistress!"

Gods kill me now, please. 'Mistress'... blergh.

She banked sharply, flying over the fox. Why had she chosen this individual as her herald? She knew already that he was going to try and run at the first chance he got, but that didn't matter. He would serve her whether he meant to or not.
With the large wings buffeting the remaining cliff and it's occupant, she swooped over Kamilo and tossed her Herald on the ground, sending him rolling a bit. Although it wouldn't leave him permanently damaged, he would definitely be sore next time he woke. Now that she didn't have to worry about accidentaly killing Jean, she could deal with the pest.
She turned towards him, her body blocking any escape other than into the crashing waves below, and spoke in a voice that was rarely used. "Now, why would you do some thing like that? Does the little one want to play?" She grinned, enjoying the prospect of tormenting one who had hit her.

Kamilo ducked as the beast swooped over him, shielding his face from the debris kicked up in her wake. When he looked up, he saw that the dragon had cornered him against the cliff's edge. His eyes darted around, looking for possible routes should he decide to make a break for it. A kitsune always had a few tricks up his sleeve, so he had no concerns about getting out of this alive. The human, who appeared to be hopelessly stupid, was on his own.

"Don't patronize me," Kamilo spat, tails lashing behind him. "You think you got the advantage just because you're bigger than me? What else do you got to back all that up, huh?"

As he spoke, flickering will-o-wisps sparked to life around him, jumping and spitting wildly. He didn't use any of them just yet, instead just keeping them at the ready. The longer he held them, the more wild the wisps seemed to get, changing rapidly in size and shape. The young kitsune had very little control for how much fire power he wielded, but no one had to know that...

Jean rolled around in pain for a bit, cursing Mandeep under his breath. Do I still need to pretend to be her servant now that I'm on the ground? I mean... I could shoot at her, team-up with this runt for a bit, and then rob him blind later. Jean grinned, feeling proud of himself for thinking of that one. Not bothering to think of an escape route, he did his best to get up.

Yes, threaten the big flying dragon. Gee, what a great idea. He scoffed. Kamilo's decision was apparently dumber than anything he got up to. Jean slowly got up to his feet and pulled out his bow, slightly damaged from the journey its been taken through, but still usable.

Not paying any attention to Kamilo's wisps, he glared at Mandeep and yelled. "Pick me up, why don't you! Make me serve you!?" he nocked an arrow onto his bow, fuming. "Well, how about this!?" He took aim and fired an arrow at Mandeep, he was aiming for her eye, but the fog, the state of his bow, the make of his arrows - iron and sharp enough to pierce leather and human flesh - and the state of his body were clearly affecting his aim. The arrow (and subsequent arrows he would fire off after) would have a very low chance of actually hitting her eye.
