RE: Until Silence Is Broken - Andromeda - 12-27-2016 Razor was in the dining hall. He had sent someone to lead the way for her. he was sipping on some coffee as he read some reports about things going on in the kingdom at the moment. He was a bit boted, but he was already dressed for the day at least. He reached down and bit a piece of toast that was before him having already eaten most of his fill. He sighed putting the paper down. Where was she? Did she not know when dawn was? RE: Until Silence Is Broken - Achera - 12-27-2016 The girl looked to see another servant waiting for her not far from her room. She followed the man as he lit the way down the spiral of tunnels that was the fortress. How the hell he knew where he was going, she had no idea. How she was going to get back... Lia tried to memorize the halls as they walked so she could attempt to get back on her own if needed be but it was slowly proving futile. This would take awhile and not just one stroll to learn. Not long after the tunnel opened up to reveal a room where her host was sitting. The servant gestured for her to move forward ahead without him. She on the other hand was a bit more reluctant to try to move ahead, but still did anyway. "Morning," she said as she went to go join him. She took notice of his mostly finished meal. What time was it anyway? RE: Until Silence Is Broken - Andromeda - 12-27-2016 "Morning," he said as he ate his last bite. He was looking at her with an neutral expression that was so often taken as a judging expression because of the lack of emotions that it held. He slowly picked up his wine and sipped it, and placed it back down. "You seemed to have wanted to sleep in today I see." He watched her wondering what type of food she'd pick to eat from the large selection on the table. What she didn't eat would be thrown out after the servants had their pick. RE: Until Silence Is Broken - Achera - 12-27-2016 Lia wasn't sure what he was thinking. His facial expression seemed... cold almost. It was like he was a different person today. She was unsure what to do considering his welcome, but she went to go look at the food and pick something out to eat. "How do you even know what time of day it is down here? I couldn't tell if I slept an hour or three days," she replied. It was an honest answer. She always awoke at sunlight, not in darkness like this. The girl picked some fruit, some eggs, and a side of sausage and bacon. She picked a bit of each not sure what to really grab. It all smelled so good though. She took a seat near Razor and proceeded to eat a bit. "Sorry for the late start. I'll try to get better at it." RE: Until Silence Is Broken - Andromeda - 12-27-2016 "I know the time because I am using to this. I am use to living in the dark and always going out into the world. We also have enchantment here that tell you the time in certain rooms. My room is one of them," he informed her as he watched her pick her food. What she ate would say a lot about her. How she viewed herself, what she thought of him watching her, and how she was feeling were all things he could learn from something so small. He tilted his head slightly causing his black hair to shift slight. He was amused she had picked up two meats. She was an interesting case indeed. Food like that was often for fighters. What war was she fighting and was it mental? He was curious... "So your friend... When did you meet him?" RE: Until Silence Is Broken - Achera - 12-27-2016 "You can't blame me then if I don't know the time here. I barely even knew my own room," she replied as she started to eat. Everything was so good. She couldn't remember the las time she had meal this good or if ever, but she restrained herself and ate slowly. Each moved was precise and well mannered. She at least knew that much. She bit into a bit of fruit as she watched him. His stare was intense. It was hard to get used to. What she wasn't expecting was to be asked about Dia already, but she was still shaking off her sleepiness. She had almost forgotten that was the reason she was here. "Oh... Uhmmm... When I was in my 100s or 200s I think? Or was it later..... I'm not even sure now. It's been so long I hadn't really thought of my age when we met." She had been in such a shitty state... In her mind everyday had been nearly a century that she didn't know time. So how long had she known Dia? RE: Until Silence Is Broken - Andromeda - 12-27-2016 "Hmm that's a long time ago then I presume," he said as he poured himself another glass and sipped it. He might as well have been drinking nothing for all this bottle would do for him. He didn't really get drunk anymore after all these years. He had a tolerance so high that nothing could really touch him. He smiled a bit breaking his cold exterior so maybe she'd calm down a bit now. Nodding his head to her, he blinked. "So are you enjoying your meal," he asked her trying to keep it somewhat civil and then.. he blew it. "So is he your lover? Do you have kids with him?" RE: Until Silence Is Broken - Achera - 12-27-2016 Lia nodded to him originally considering it had been awhile since she'd seen him or even remembered when they first met. She casually ate at her meal as she tried to calm down. The smile helped a bit but still. It was awkward nonetheless. She barely knew him and he her, but at least he was civil. "I am thank-" she half choked on her words and food and what he asked afterwards; throwing her into a coughing fit. Did he really just ask that?? She tried to compose herself as she still coughed and picked up a napkin to wipe her mouth. It took her a few minutes, but she somewhat was together. So much for civil. Her eyes turned back to him, a spark of rage hidden in there. "Excuse me?" She wasn't playing anymore. That was just plain rude. RE: Until Silence Is Broken - Andromeda - 12-27-2016 "You took the deal. Your luxury comes at the price of me knowing about the relationship.. I'm just curious is all," he said watching her. "You see I don't remember the last time I had what you call a friend. Every relationship I have is business where it be to have a child or to have a peace treaty or a pack. I don't see people past those lines." He knew that was hard to understand. He didn't understand the relationship at all or any really anymore. He couldn't remember the last friend he had or what they even looked like past war friends or people bonded over conflict... He wasn't sure what a true friend was, but surely these two, for this bond, must be lovers. RE: Until Silence Is Broken - Achera - 12-27-2016 She bit back a growl knowing better than to have any remark against him. She stared at him as she tried to keep her temper in place. He was right but why did he have to be so blunt? They didn't even know each other. He really must not have understood proper etiquette considering how this was going. "By your logic ours is considered business so which one do we have fall under? Child, treaty, or pack?" she said as she watched him with the same wary stare. She had all but lost her appetite now. "You can have a friend of the opposite sex without screwing them. We have a close bond, but it's the furthest from sexual it could be." In some aspects she could see why people would think they were lovers, but sex wasn't on the table. At all. Hell he saved her from that life, so why would she go back to it? She pushed her plate away to show she was done. Half wasn't even touched. How could she try to get this through to him? She sighed as her temper calmed down and she relaxed a bit in her seat. She was overreacting.. "A friend is someone you enjoy having for company whether to go out for actives or just talk. Nothing political, no children involved, nothing other than simply enjoying the other's presence." That was the best she could do for now. Would he even understand? |
