RE: Until Silence Is Broken - Andromeda - 01-01-2017

One of the clones shifted into Razor's wolf form and snarled at the boy snapping on thin air before taking off after him. Another shifted into the demon's dragon form and the rest shifted between the two and a few stayed as a human. This would teach his son to hide. Not everything was able to be killed and an important lesson for everyone was to have an escape plan.

The real Razor smiled and walked, not really running or chasing his son. He'd let the clones do that. They had their orders to not actually hurt the boys but it wouldnt hurt to keep a close eye on them just in case. "Vion be careful."

RE: Until Silence Is Broken - Achera - 01-01-2017

Vion ran away as he heard the different ersions of his father come after him. He normally liked them but at the moment he hated his father's beast forms. The wolves would be able to sniff him out. The dragons well... then of course his father in general. Evenat a young age the child knew how deadly his father could be.

The terrain of the gym changed as magic morphed the landscape into that beyond the fortress. The floor changed into the dirt and grassy mix found in the forests not far from a village. The walls limiting the space were dense with trees. Not far off where a couple of ruins of an old abandoned city. The structure was broken and decayed. Vion ran from the clones. He managed to shift into his wolf form before scampering off. He needed to hide and fast but then there became the issue of his scent. He hid in the treeline, trying to rub his scent on the trees and backtrack. Dad had taughht him that one. He hid behind a couple of trees as he watched the clones try to find him. Vion tried to keep his noise down as she rolled in the dirt. Hopefully it would cover his scent.

Razor watched from a safe distance. He was glad to see his son had learned something from their lessons together, but he still needed improvement. He would not condemn his son for his attempts, but he also wouldn't let him get away with not doing a better job. For a while he let his son think he had gotten away but allowing the clones to go around him as if lost. Sniffing, but still moving. They didn't seem to notice him, but Razor was getting feed back from the clones. He knew where his boy was.

The clones started to circle back around no longer sniffing around. A few had lingered in front of the child as if confused and slowly they began to encircle the child. Razor began to make his way towards his baby boy. "You did much better this time, still need a bit or work, but you're learning better then your brother did," the man praised the boy. He smiled and it was endearing. It didn't have malice at all in it. "You just need a few more tips. Do you want to try again or get the hint first?

Vion had been looking around when he saw his father, well actual father approaching him. They're was a small difference between him and the clones in smell, but it was hard to distinguish for his age. He wasn't trained that well with it yet, but he was learning. That and he was speaking towards him. Vion got up on his little paws and shook out the dirt from his fur. He looked at his dad and wagged his tail happily. He was happier that he did better than his brother, but still he had a long way to go. "Hint! Hint!" He ran in a small circle and looked back at his father. It was easier if he knew a few tips rather than struggling and making the same mistakes.

"How do you hide from so many clones?"

RE: Until Silence Is Broken - Andromeda - 01-01-2017

"Well they're not exactly intelligent themselves," he told the little boy. "They're giving me reactions to what they see and I am then giving them orders. So everything I get is second hand." It was a hint. If the boy could confuse the clones, he could throw his father off, but would he realize this? Razor wasn't sure if he was old enough to understand yet, but it was worth a try at least. He smiled at his son and nodded off. The room began to change again. This time it looked more like mountains with tunnels all around the room. It would make a more interesting chase. The clones moved aside for the boy to take off again.

He was going to give him more of a head start this time though. "Remember, the point is to not get found by me."

RE: Until Silence Is Broken - Achera - 01-02-2017

Vion nodded at his father as he tried to understand what he was saying. The clones didn't think like they did and might not react to scent like his father or him did. They were just magic. The point was not to be seen so then he had to learn that. Vion took off this time still remaining as his canine self off into the mountains. He looked around the scenery but there seemed to be no where to hide other than the tunnels. He dove down into them hoping to keep the dragons from spotting him from the air.

He couldn't see nuch in front of him but his eyes were better in the dark like this; which meant his father's clones were as well. Vion ran down the tunnel as the ceiling dripped water on him. His ears pressed flat. Ehind him not liking this, but he was determined to win. As he splashed through some puddles, he became aware of his sound. Vion skidded to a hault and tried to be more careful as he navigated the tunnel. He had to hide and it had to be soon. The small boy took a left turn at one of the tunnels and managed to find some damp foliage, rocks and moss. He hid amongst them, using the moss as a way to cover himself to blend in with the rocks and the plants. He laid on his stomach in a tight ball with his tail wrapped around him and waited quietly.

This time the clones where throughly confused. They seemed to rummage around the tunnels actually trying to move and touch things even though they were not as physical as they looked. They looked to each other and a wolf version shrugged its shoulders to show he was unclear too. A dragon nearby snapped it's jaws. They were no where near the boy. The water had thrown off his scent, and the tunnel's echo had hidden which way he had gone sound wise. For the first time the boy had managed to escape the clones easily. This was good. The father was proud.

A smile decorated his face to show this as his clones continued on their search coming up with nothing more then wild guesses. Finally the clones started to disappear one by one. Each one disappearing with a crack and a burst of light as Razor let them go. The last one let out a long howl to allow the boy to know he had won. The hunt was over and then it too disappeared like the others. The tunnels began to shimmer and faded from reality as the man stood smiling. "Very good," he said. "Very, very good. You learn really quickly. Now remember the only time you'll need to use this skill is if something happens to me or you are alone and feel threatened."

He hoped neither would come to pass, but it was always a possibility he had to keep his son well trained just in case. "Now since I picked this game, what other game would you like to play? We could just do some training if you want. Or we could practice magic?"

RE: Until Silence Is Broken - Achera - 01-02-2017

Vion piped up his head as he heard the last of the wolves howl out. His father stood standing there with a smile. The little boy grinned back at him as he got up from where he was to go see his father. The boy was wagging his tail happily since he actually won this time. But he didn't like when dad spoke about him possibly not being around. He didn't know what to do without his dad. He loved him too much. Vion shifted back into his human form and ran over to hug his father's legs. He loved him too much.

The boy tried to think about what he wanted to play next. It was hard to think of something since there were way too many games they could play. Then there would be magic practice too. He thought about it as he looked up at his dad. "Can we practice some magic?" He wasn't very good at that and dad was amazing. He wanted to be as good as dad was.

RE: Until Silence Is Broken - Andromeda - 01-02-2017

"Well before we begin to work on magic we need to build up your stamina a bit," he said looking at his son happy to see him so excited. "I don't want you to get hurt trying to learn magic. It's very easy to drain yourself and to get more stamina for magic, you need more stamina in general." He looked at his son and motioned for him to follow. He went to the center of the room and sat down and looked at him.

Razor closed his eyes for a second and inhaled before opening his eyes again. A very dull blade began to form from iron particles in the dirt. It was made to match his son's size. "I want you to take this and practice swinging it off to the side," he told him. He picked the blade up and put enchantments on it so it could not cut the boy by putting a barrier of magic between the blade and the air. It would bruise, but never cut. "Swing this. Let it become part of your body. Then after you master this in about a week I'll teach you to make a blade with your own magic to use."

RE: Until Silence Is Broken - Achera - 01-03-2017

Vion's eyes grew as he watched the small sword appear before him. He was always easily fascinated by his father's small display of magic. He loved it so much. The boy picked up the sword with the smallest struggle. He never remembered how to hold it sometimes. It was always heavier than he expected when he picked it up. The boy walked off to the side to practice like his father would say. At first he started swinging it aimlessly, but he didn't do that for long. The motion of just swinging like he didn't know what to do was annoying him and making his patience wear thin.

He took a minute to understand what the metal thing in his hand was and how it felt. The sword was heavy, but still easy enough to move around should he have actually tried to. It started to scrap at the ground to feel how long the blade was. Vion just stayed to the side and practiced with the guidance of his father nearby.
