As the largest continent in Antarsia, Sleibte is the homeland to the most number of species. Dragons, Dwarves, Humans, and Kitsune all originate from this massive and highly varied land, which contains everything from icy mountains to blistering deserts to humid swamplands and everything in between.

Cities

Name: Yfrelo City
Inhabitants: Anyone that is practicing magic or has the gift of magic can live here
Location: Upper part of Naminoishi's Snowy Mountain Region in a valley between two snowy mountains
Appearance: The city itself is actually green despite it's surroundings. The town is warded by the mage school which is a gleaming white castle in the center. This ward is cast around the whole town allowing it to feel like an eternal spring. It also simulates weather for the inhabitants so they do not feel the harsh cold of the mountains around them and can live at peace here. The land around the city remains unchanged making it hard to get to as well provide a natural defense.
Culture: The city is home to the mage guild of Sleibte. It allows members of any species to attend as long as they're willing to follow the rules set down by the school and practice. The whole city is run by what happens at the school and is founded upon the principles of magic itself. The city often has magic festivals where the newly accepted into the school will show off their magical talent to show the world what they can do. All these events are taken with extreme caution and if a user is believed to be incapable of controlling their powers, they are not allowed to perform for the audience. This town is also home to people who can't use magic, but have a family member that does. It is a place for them to come to understand magic and help them learn more about it with their family member say if their child was born with magic. The town is accepting to those that are open minded about learning.

Name: Silencia
Inhabitants: Anyone tough enough to survive in the cold
Location:Within the Whispering Tundra
Appearance: The homes of Silencia are built of wood and ice, and are buried under as much snow as they can be. The town would be easy to overlook were it not for the plumes of smoke coming out of the chimneys of the houses and buildings. Many houses have neighboring sheds used to store food, partially underground as many of the homes are. Vegetation is few and far between, but in the summer months community gardens spring up on the outskirts of town, where all manner of crops are grown. Kennels and stables are frequent in town, and like the other buildings are partially underground, buried within the snow. Furs, hay, and dried grasses make up most of the bedding here, and there are always fires roaring. A home without a fire is said to invite death inside.
Culture: Silencia is named for the muffled silence that hangs in the air. Snow falls frequently, and covers the ground for most of the year. Warmth is a priority here, and nothing is left to waste. Dogs and reindeer are the primary means of travel, pulling the sleds of hunting parties as they track game through the tundra. When something large is killed, like a whale or a bear, the carcass is shared among the town. Bones are turned into tools, the fur is turned into blankets and clothing, and much of the meat is preserved.

During the fleeting spring and summer months, life flourishes here. Plants spring to life and the people of Silencia grow and preserve as much as they can to sustain them through the long harsh winters. Wood is gathered from the surrounding harvests, repairs are made to homes--it's truly a busy time for Silencia.

Oral traditions are commonplace here, and stories are frequently told around fires. The elders are responsible for passing down these stories, and there's a strong sense of pride in the stories of their ancestors.

Name: Coama
Inhabitants: Nixie
Location: Madefactus Lake
Appearance: An infant city, Coama is little more than a few buildings built of mud and stone. The bottom of the lake is, mercifully, warmer than the top. The town has a small market and little else, with the nixie working hard to attract more to join their small town.
Culture: Coama is a laid back place, being a very small town. The citizens try their best to be friendly, and mostly consists of farmers and fishermen. They’re hoping to make this a sprawling city on the western side of the Naminoishi Mountain Range, since there isn’t much out there. So far their efforts haven’t been too fruitful, but they’re trying.

Name: Harkorth
Inhabitants: Dwarves
Location: Underground of Naminoishi Mountain Range
Appearance: The original city itself is massive. It is in the heart of the largest mountain in the range and at it's very center is a stature of the first king of the Dwarves. He was said to be their biggest hero against the dragons and helped to claim the city as their own. This statue is made of marble and the eyes are made from gems that is said to have been the same color as his eyes, a jade gem. Behind this statue is the house of the current king made out of white marble with giant columns on either side. The entrance is made of iron doors crafted by the dwarves showing their history on each side. The rest of the city looks just as well done having been built slowly over the years. Above the statue is a large clear gem that gives off light for half the day only to go dim when they consider it to be 'night'. The city is made of stone and metal mostly as it was all crafted by the smiths. The workmanship is beyond anything seen by other creatures for metal work as the dwarves had had many years to perfect their craft when it comes to engraving and carving out stories on metal particular for the door on the homes of their fellow people.
Culture: Dwarves live in tunnels burrowed deep into the Naminoishi mountain ranges, mining the rich deposits of gems and metals that lie beneath the surface. They are parts of nomadic clans, which alternate locations every year so that all dwarven clans have a chance to mine at all locations, including the richest mine. The locations of these mines are undisclosed and remain a mystery to all but the dwarven clans themselves, for the mines are the Dwarves' greatest treasure. However, because of their constant moving, all their tunnels that they may travel down for more treasure will lead them back to Harkorth which is where they originated at.

Name: Hydomanassa
Inhabitants: Nixie, freshwater mermaids
Location: Ellond Lake
Appearance: The buildings of Hydomanassa are crafted of stone and mud. The buildings are warm and well insulated. While dark and dreary, with part of the city spreading under the mountain, it’s lit by gas lamps crafted by the dwarves. The dwarves have helped to craft underwater hotspots, where the water is warm enough to farm underwater plants. These vents also double as springs, which can rejuvenate and heal the citizens of Hydomanassa.
Culture: While the city of Hydomanassa is cold and dark, the people are anything but. The overall atmosphere of the city is warm and welcoming, with a strong sense of community. The citizens of Hydomanassa have a very good relationship with the dwarves, and frequently trade and work alongside them. With the jewels and metal from the dwarves, many citizens have become fine jewelers and craftsmen.

Name: Redstone Keep
Inhabitants: Kelahati, Dwarf, Human
Location: The southern edge of the Naminoishi Mountain Range
Appearance: Redstone Keep is a massive fortress carved into the mountains. The guard towers constantly keep an eye out for trouble, and because of that the general populace is very lax and content. Taverns and forges tend to be the most commons businesses here, and the open air market is full of ore and gems mined throughout the range. The buildings are carved into the stone, and the menacing looks of Redstone Keep betray the warmth of the population within its walls. The streets are wide and clean, and there are one too many stairs for travelers to get used to.
Culture: A city of trade, Redstone Keep relies on its exports to allow them to import commodities like crops and wood. The people here are very friendly and welcoming of newcomers. Everyone has a story to share, an they'll gladly share it over a pint of ale. Big cities come with troubles, though. Less savory characters call Redstone Keep their home, and the guards are constantly on the lookout for pickpockets and thieves. It's rumored that a branch of the Silver Fang is here, but not even the loose lips of ale can say where.

Name: Oslark City
Inhabitants: Tarsian
Location: South of Sodanryn Forest
Appearance: Oslark isn't known for it's grandeur or it's fancy buildings, but rather its three distinct areas for each of the tribes. Each house is built based on its owners preference for form, whether it be their true form or the form of one they're suppose to watch over. Some live in small caves, others prefer to stays as dragons, elves, or even wolves. It almost makes it seem like many species live here while in reality only typically one lives here normally, but it has allowed for diversity unmatched by other cities.
Culture: tbr

Locations

Name: Whispering Tundra
Location: The entire northwest edge of the continent
Appearance: A barren wasteland of ice and snow, the Whispering Tundra is constantly whipped by vicious winds. These winds seem to whisper quite fiercely, leading many to believe the tundra to be haunted and cursed by those forced to enter and never return. Spotty groups of trees provide some shelter, and in spring the entire tundra springs to life. Herds of reindeer and caribou can be found here most of the year, migrating north and south with the seasons.

Name: Diamond Peak
Location: West of Yfrelo City
Appearance: Named for its peak, which is covered in a thick glacier that reflects the sunlight, Diamond Peak shelters much of Yfrelo City from the harsh winds of the Whispering Tundra. This mountain is a beautiful gleaming white, and while its impossible to mine the constantly frozen rock, it provides ice and water for local populations. There's a system of caves within that grows a luminous moss praised for its medicinal properties.

Name: Naminoishi Mountain Range
Location: To the West of Sleibte starting from the northern ice region of the continent and stops just before the beach at the south tip after splitting into two.
Appearance: The mountain range comes in a variety of colors. In the north it starts off as snow white mountain range that is covered in ice and snow. It is dangerous to navigate and has led more than a few to their deaths from cold or falling off. The further south along the mountain range it slowly becomes more of just jagged rocks as the snow and ice give away to solid rocks. The rocks here often meet more weathering than the northern part of the range and because of this tend to have more rock slides as they are not held together by layers of ice as the water rains down on them and loosens them.

The mountain range also has many small caves throughout the mountains. These caves are home to a variety of dragon types. Western dragons still reside mainly in the northern where the first dragon came from in the snowy parts of Sleibhte. They lay claim to much of Lake Vrocheros, as well as all of the snow-covered lands to the north. The Wyverns live to the south of the westerns, in the Naminoishi mountain range, Ganthor's Maw, as well as the grasslands to the west and east of the mountains.

Name: Ganthor's Maw
Location: Flat that is created where the Naminoishi Mountain Range splits into two going on either side of this 'valley' to never join back together.
Appearance: The ground where the mountains first split is rocky and jagged, but at the base of the mountain is a massive entrance to the Harkorth. This valley is massive and is very dangerous to travel through due to potential rockslides, and being in the open. Dragons often use the mountains nearby as nesting grounds and for homes. It is very dangerous to be seen in the open especially if one of them happens to be hungry. Ganthor's Maw leads down to Sodanryn Forest and more further down, one travels then the more greenery that will become visible until the forest appears.

Name: Ganthor's Shrine
Location: The western edge of Ganthor's Maw
Appearance: Ganthor's Shrine is within the mountains. The entrance is a large cave mouth, flanked by imposing stone torches that protect the flames. Intricate stone runes line the staircase as it descends into the heart of the mountain, where the shrine proper is housed. Lit by glowing red and and yellow stones, the walls look as though magma veins are illuminating the cavern. A shallow lake rests between the stairs and the altar, and the water is so still it has mirror clarity. Candles float on its surface, never moving. Stepping stones are the path to the altar, which rests against the back wall of the cavern. The wall is set with a stone relief of Ganthor crafting the first Dwarves from molten rock, and the altar itself juts out from the bottom border of the relief.

Name: Shady Plains
Location: East of Ganthor's Maw
Appearance: Shady Plains fall in the shadow of Ganthor's Maw. The sun never fully shines here, and while the plains are cast in shadow they're a peaceful place. It's commonly used as farmland where livestock can graze.

Name: Sodanryn Forest
Location: The southernmost portion of Ganthor's Maw, just north of the coastline.
Appearance: Sodaryn Forest is heavily wooded in the northern portions of the forest, but the density of the trees thins out as the woodland stretches south. This is due mainly to the more arid environment of the southern portions of the forest, where trees and vegetation have to compete for the water and nutrients that are more plentiful to the north. The northern forest is home to smaller wyverns as well as various other creatures, most of which are hunted by the dragons. The trees in this forest are large enough for a wyvern to perch upon the thick branches, and these two-legged dragons have adapted superbly to weaving between the enormous trunks to chase after their quarry. In contrast, the southern part of the forest is scarce in wildlife and even more so in dragons, for the city of Oslark is the homeland of the Tarsians, who are fierce hunters and are avoided by predators and prey alike.

Name: Lithrina's Shrine
Location: The southern edge of Ganthor's Maw
Appearance: The shrine of the goddess of love and war is shaded by the mountains overhead. Nestled in the grassy plains, the white marble stands out in stark contrast to the surrounding scenery, and is fenced off from the outside world with tall thorny shrubs that refuse to burn. The shrine's entrance is a beautiful stone arch that leads to a long reflection pool. The pool itself is bordered by tall stone obelisks depicting servants of the goddess pouring water into the pool, holding a jug in one hand and a weapon in the other. The first two obelisks depict archers pointing their arrows at the entrance. The main body of the shrine is rather simple; a rectangular building lined with columns that overlook the reflection pool.

The altar is set between two large axes, and built of many other weapons, often stained with blood. It is said that those who attempt to steal from the goddess have their heads lopped off by the axes.

Name: Cloudborne Foothills
Location: The southeastern edge of Sleibte West, bordering the Cloudborne Jungle
Appearance: These hills are lush and green, with warm weather year-round. While not as rainy as the jungle, the closer one gets to the coast, the rainier it gets. A popular camping spot, the foothills are full of different animals and plants. Small bands of Kelahati often make their homes here.

Name: Madefactus Lake
Location: West of Naminoishi Mountain Range, where the ice region slowly becomes forests and plains
Appearance: The lake is almost completely frozen. The lake itself is often just used for collecting clean drinking water that flows out into the river Zyima. Because the ice is so thick, many species of fish and plants find this lake uninhabitable because of the extreme cold. The water, however, tends to stay clean for the locals land species to drink without fear of toxins..

Name: Vrocheros Lake
Location: To the East of Naminoishi Mountain Range where the ice region slowly becomes forestation
Appearance: The water, despite it's location, is never truly frozen beyond the shallow shores. The top layer of ice, which is about a foot thick, makes travel easy. Close to the southern part of the lake, the ice is much thinner and can result in breaking through the ice and getting trapped beneath it. Due to this the lake is believed to be the home of drowned souls. From the lake the river, Saltus-regis, flows South West. The water in the lake itself is a dark, clear blue, and one can often see dangers lurking below. Its rumored that an eastern dragon swims beneath the ice.

Name: Ellond Lake
Location: Just south of Vrocheros Lake, slightly to the west
Appearance: Cold because of the run-off water that comes from the mountains to the west. The run-off water pulls into a section of the lake that is actually underground under the mountain itself which is a water source that channels through the underground system for the dwarves. This lake is often home to a large selection of fish, as well as some types of electric eels. The water is often fresh and clean from the natural clean purification process that happens as water is mixed and rotated as the lake is when the run-off water comes into the lake from a waterfall called Illifsa inside the cavern.

Name: Zmiya River
Location: West of Naminoishi Mountain Range coming off of Madefactus Lake
Appearance: Much like Madefactus Lake it is frozen on the top layer. However, the bottom layers of the river water run with a strong deadly current that makes the river very dangerous to fall the ice through. With the speeding current it is easy to be swept away and under the ice, very likely to drown under. With the little oxygen from the air, the water mixing does help increase levels slightly in comparison to the lake, but with the ice covering the river, it is rare to find any species of animal living within these waters because it is frozen year around.

Name: Gragnili River
Location: South of Ellond Lake where it comes off the bottom of the lake
Appearance: Going down from Ellond Lake, it runs through the mountain range near the end of it on the southern tip of the range to the east side of the split. Here it creates a deep massive canyon that is created by the water following since the creation of the world cutting and smoothing the rocks in mountains. This river is home to many different types of fish and other aquatic species. With such a large diversity it has made the river popular for the fishing and used often to supply fish markets as wells as fish nurseries are often raised here.

Name: Shifting Sands
Location: South of Sodanryn Forest
Appearance: A small, sandy scrub land with an unusual amount of sandstorms. The winds here can be quite fierce, and the landscape appears to always be changing. It's advised not to travel through without a guide.

Name: Eleinia's Shrine
Location: A small island off the coast of the Shifting Sands
Appearance: Eleinia's shrine is a large circular tent made up of luxurious fabrics woven of deep purple and threads of real gold. The interior is luxurious, full of plush cushions that simply invite one to take a rest. Incense in constantly burning here, and the result is a thick hazy smoke that encourages lucid dreams into one's desires. The altar lies beyond a curtain of thin sashes and curtains, and takes the form of a statue of the goddess lounging beneath a large golden incense burner.
